Racing Pride’s flagship Pride Hub returns to the British Grand Prix

We thoroughly enjoyed bringing our Pride Hub back to the iconic Silverstone Circuit for the 2026 British Grand Prix! Fans attending throughout the weekend were able to find us by Woodcote A, learn more about our mission and activities, and sign up to become members of our community.

Members of our Racing Pride team and community volunteered throughout the race weekend – from Thursday through Sunday – to share Racing Pride’s ethos with members of the public attending the British Grand Prix, spreading pride and positivity whilst handing out 800 rainbow wristbands and 1500 pride stickers! Every rainbow worn with pride is a sign which helps show our community belongs in motorsport, and can let someone know they are not alone.

The Pride hub is a brilliant opportunity to connect with our community during one of the flagship events in the Formula 1 calendar. Our presence at an event of this scale also opens up discussion amongst attendees who might not have encountered our work before, and puts on a real display of solidarity and allyship which can start conversations and open up opportunities for LGBTQ+ fans to feel welcomed as their whole selves. 

Conversations with the public allow us to emphasise the importance of inclusion, and during each Pride Hub we are able to welcome new joiners to our Racing Pride membership. 

We also took to the Driver‘s Inn stage for a speaking slot, which was broadcast on screens around the circuit. This was a great opportunity for our CEO Matthew-Harriet Randall, along with community members Craig and Dave, to talk about what pride means to them and why the work we are doing is still so important.
