Racing Pride hosts flagship industry event Accelerate Pride at British Motor Museum

On Friday 3rd April 2026, Racing Pride hosted our flagship industry event, Accelerate Pride, at the British Motor Museum in Gaydon, Coventry.

It was wonderful to welcome LGBTQ+ community members and allies from across the motorsport industry, for networking, panel discussions and meaningful conversations. Speakers and attendees explored what LGBTQ+ inclusion can learn from the experiences of other inclusion initiatives in motorsport, as well as lessons from sectors and sports beyond our industry, and many more enlightening topics.

Among the fantastic cars on display were: Tony Purnell’s 1953 Jaguar C-Type, Nichols N1A, and Tamara Ivancova’s Elecy 4-wheeled eBike.

We want to thank Forever Callie Media for amazing event coverage, as well as Giana Gyr for her art, and Louise Parker for her live music.

When attendees were asked which signal or action can help make a workplace feel safe enough to come out, they responded:

“patience, respect, trust, leadership, clear allyship, and authenticity.”

We believe all of these values were on full display during the course of the event, and are thankful to every attendee for their thoughtful contributions.
